Operative Hysteroscopy

What is a Hystoroscopy?

Hysteroscopy is a short gynecological procedure in which a thin camera is gently inserted through the vagina and cervix into the uterine cavity.

Appointments for hysteroscopy are usually available within 3-4 weeks. During this procedure, we use the state of art most gentle, and narrowest HYSTEROSCOPE IN THE WORLD.

By comparison, the diameter of this device is as thin as an ordinary skewer. This makes it possible to perform very gentle procedures even on non-parturient or elderly women (after 60 years of age).

It is recommended to perform the procedure when the endometrium is at its lowest, ideally within 10 days after your menstruation. Optimal timing can be achieved with single-phase hormonal contraception without omission or gestagen preparation.

According to the range of performance and difficulty, we distinguish between operative and diagnostic hysteroscopy.

Operative hysteroscopy is a very gentle and fast procedure that enables the removal or correction of issues found during the diagnostic hysteroscopy (such as resection of polyps or small fibroids, myomas, disruption of adhesions, etc.)
